Beyond the Classroom: Hands-On Learning and Growth
While on-site at our Glenwood location, your child will enjoy a structured day brimming with a diverse range of activities. We go beyond traditional camp experiences by intentionally exposing children to key concepts in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), technology, exploration, humanitarianism, and so much more.
What does this look like in action? It could be building and testing simple machines, coding basic games, exploring the wonders of nature through hands-on experiments, engaging in creative art projects inspired by different cultures, or learning about the importance of giving back to the community through age-appropriate activities. Safety and Supervision are Our Top Priorities
We understand that entrusting your child to our care is a significant decision. Rest assured, the safety and well-being of our campers are our utmost priorities. The children will be transported to offsite field trips by one of our trained and experienced YJNP camp counselors. We also welcome and encourage parent involvement! There will be ample opportunities for parent chaperones to join us on our weekly excursions, allowing you to be a part of your child's exciting camp journey.

We know that families have busy schedules, which is why we offer flexible options to make Camp Your Journey work for you:
Standard Camp Hours: Our core camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This provides a full day of engaging activities and fun.
Extended Care: Need coverage before or after the regular camp day in Howard County? We've got you covered! We offer convenient before and after care options from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a seamless solution for working parents.
Lunch Options: Children can bring a bagged lunch from home, or you can opt for our convenient catered lunch option, taking one more thing off your to-do list!
